    It is believed that spinach originated in ancient Persia. The king of Nepal sent spinach as a gift to China in the 7th century. It made its way to Spain and Europe in the 11th century. Spinach aids vision, skin and bone health. It can be beneficial to Alzheimer’s patients and those with high blood pressure.
